SAN FRANCISCO, June 13, 2023 – The first two Dental RCM Bootcamps took attendees to Miami and Las Vegas. The third location promises “333 Days of Sunshine” along with deeper dives into the most significant topics facing revenue cycle management.
The next Dental RCM Bootcamp, scheduled for November 8-10, 2023, will be set in the Sonoran Desert and held at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona.
More than 60 United States-based dental support organizations (DSOs) are expected to be represented among the attendees.
While the primary objectives are learning and networking, participants will also enjoy five award-winning restaurants, world-class golf - including a PGA Tour Course, an internationally recognized spa, and more.
Dental RCM Bootcamps are designed specifically for U.S.-based, DSO professionals. The events feature industry leaders sharing their expertise in best practices, technology, industry trends, and professional development – all from an RCM perspective.
Bringing revenue cycle management leaders together is “exactly what the industry has been wanting and needing,” said Teresa Williams, United Dental Corporation’s Vice President of Growth. Ms. Williams was a panelist at the Winter 2023 Dental RCM Bootcamp in Las Vegas.
However, her biggest takeaway was that “there is still a whole lot of work left to do on the technology side.” For that reason, and the constantly evolving nature of the RCM space, Fall 2023 curriculum is being designed to more rigorously explore challenges facing the industry – as well as their solutions.
The Dental RCM Bootcamp debuted in March 2022 in Miami. It was the first event of its kind in the DSO industry and an immediate hit.
“Honestly, I’ve never been to a conference where I have purely enjoyed every single speaker,” said Select Dental Management Senior Vice President Victoria Johnson of the Miami bootcamp.
The second bootcamp was held in January 2023 in Las Vegas. The speaker and moderator lineup was composed of nearly three dozen experts from industry-leading organizations.
Will Snipes, Senior Client Executive - Growth Initiatives at Change Healthcare, appreciated the diverse perspectives working collaboratively in Las Vegas. From DSOs to practice management software to clearinghouses, “a lot of different people and a lot of smart people here are working to figure out ways to enable better care for patients and a more friendly consumer experience,” he said.
