Vault is Zentist's new lockbox automation for dental groups and DSOs. A dedicated lockbox, automated check and EOB processing, and real-time visibility from receipt to posting.

Insurance payments in dental still arrive in the mail. Checks come with EOBs, and someone on the revenue cycle team has to open them, figure out which payer and which location they belong to, deposit the funds, reconcile everything and post the payments. For a multi-location group, that adds up to a lot of paper and a lot of hours.

Today we're launching Vault to take that work off your team's plate.

Why we built Vault

Revenue cycle automation has moved quickly on claims, eligibility and posting. Insurance checks are the part that has stayed manual. A traditional bank lockbox can receive and deposit a check, but the rest is usually left to your team: reviewing EOBs, identifying payers, tracking deposits, reconciling payments and keeping tabs on where everything stands across several systems.

We built Vault, as part of the Remit AI platform, to automate that upstream work, so the path from a check arriving to a payment being posted is no longer a manual one.

What Vault does

Vault gives your organization a dedicated lockbox that receives insurance checks on your behalf. It captures and processes the check and EOB data, generates Image Cash Letters (ICLs) for digital deposit, and shows you the real-time status of every payment from receipt through reconciliation.

Key capabilities include:

• Dedicated insurance lockbox services
• Automated check and EOB processing
• Image Cash Letter (ICL) generation for digital deposits
• Real-time payment status tracking
• Visibility by payer, location and payment status
• Reconciliation and lockbox reporting
• Payment posting into your PMS
• Multi-location support for DSOs and dental groups

How it works

• Your payers mail checks to your dedicated lockbox. We help set it up and work with you on redirecting payer mail.
• Vault reads and processes each check and EOB, then deposits the funds.
• You see each payment's journey in one place: received, deposited, reconciled and transferred, without juggling multiple systems or bank portals.
• Payments post into your PMS through Remit AI and Autoposting.

Unlike a traditional bank lockbox, which focuses on receiving and depositing checks, Vault automates the workflow around the entire process. That means your team spends less time handling paperwork and tracking payments, and more time on exceptions and performance.

"At Zentist, we've always focused on helping dental organizations remove friction from their revenue cycle workflows. Vault builds on that mission by automating the operational work that happens between receiving a check and posting a payment. Organizations can now improve visibility, reduce administrative burden, and scale more effectively without reinventing their existing processes."
— Ato Kasymov, CEO and founder, Zentist

A more connected revenue cycle
